WHO WE ARE
Arzenu UK is the political voice of Reform and Liberal Religious Zionists within the World Zionist Organisation and its subsidiaries. It was founded under the name Pro Zion in the 1980s; as the brainchild of Rabbi Dow Marmur with support from the Reform and Liberal movements, it provides an official voice for progressive Jews in the international Zionist movement.
Arzenu UK is proud to have partners in 17 other constituent countries around the world, allowing arzenu Olami to have a prominent standing within the Zionist movement. arzenu embraces a two-fold mission: partnering with local constituents to promote Zionist interest and activities in our congregations and ensuring that our Jewish values and interests are represented in the governing bodies of the National Institutions of the State of Israel: the World Zionist Organization, Keren Kayemeth Leyisrael and the Jewish Agency for Israel. We use our political strength in the National Institutions to advocate for our values with the Government of Israel.

We believe in a Jewish State that embraces both democratic values and Judaism in all of its forms as well as protecting the rights of its minorities. Using our voice in the National Institutions, we support the Israeli Reform Movement in fighting for the issues that are most important to Reform, Progressive and Liberal Jews in Israel and around the world.
